The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department will present free virtual Spring Break activities for youth ages 6 to 13 during the weeks of March 8 and March 15.
The PHXPlays at Home Virtual Spring Break Camp will provide two hours of weekday activities during those two weeks. Different themed programming will be offered each day from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants can register for all the activities or pick and choose based on their interest level. Programs range from arts and crafts, to sports and hiking, and trivia games and computer coding. A complete schedule and program descriptions are listed below.
While the programming and activities are free, registration is required. Registered participants will receive a unique code to virtually join the live video stream via Cisco Webex. Participants will also need to download the free Webex app through the iTunes or Android store, or search for and download it through their internet service provider.
