LEGOLAND Movie World Debuts

By Gretchen Pahia

As life continues to return to normal, LEGOLAND® California Resort is proud to announce not only are they open to the public, and they also just opened their brand new LEGO® Movie World!

Our family got the exciting opportunity to check out the LEGO® Movie World Grand Opening recently and no matter your age – there is something fun for everyone. The theme park itself is geared more towards kids 12 and under, but even our older son, who is 15, thoroughly enjoyed the park and all it had to offer.

The new land features two new attractions: a flying theater called Emmet’s Flying Adventure and a family drop tower called Unikitty’s Disco Drop. Both new attractions were tons of fun and we cannot wait to go back and try them out again.

The resort officially reopened to the public back in April and has been able to continue to provide great service with limited capacities (which get updated all the time), and safety precautions for all their guests.

Guests can enjoy LEGO® Movie World, Driving School, LEGO® TECHNIC™ Coaster, Fairy Tale Brook, Coastersaurus and many other fun attractions. Kids and families can also enjoy socially distant character meet and greets, live entertainment, a wide variety of food options and Miniland U.S.A.

Also now open to the public are the SEA LIFE® aquarium and LEGO® CHIMA™ Water Park. Guests can get tickets and make hotel bookings online in advance to reserve access for their desired dates to visit.

To ensure a safe and healthy experience for its guests, the Resort is implementing safety guidelines which include reduced capacity, cashless payments, social distancing practices and enhanced cleaning regimes.

Face coverings are currently required for all guests two years of age and up as well as all staff members and temperatures will be taken upon check in, however, this is changing all the time so please contact the resort for updated safety procedures.
