If your family is gearing up for a summer vacation, here are two cool spots to visit from coast to coast: a neat spot in New York city and a beachy getaway in San Diego.

Loews in NYC

Located on Park Avenue, Loews Regency New York sits in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. It’s perfectly placed, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions like Central Park.

Speaking of Central Park, I really enjoyed dining at the historic Tavern on the Green—it’s been around since 1934! My brothers and I had the best grilled cheese ever, and then we took a pedicab tour around the park. We got the ultimate view of the Statue of Liberty aboard a private boat, thanks to New York Harbor Tours. We sailed down the Hudson River, catching the coolest views of Lady Liberty and Ellis Island.

The most classic way to see the NYC skyline is by visiting The Empire State Building. It was so fun going on a tour up the multiple elevators, seeing King Kong, and checking out the tower’s Hollywood history—so many movies were filmed there! At the top, we were wowed by the views!

Loews in San Diego

Loews Coronado Bay Resort is just a few minutes from downtown Coronado and is a neat spot to stay directly on the Bay. The Waterfront Villas are fantastic… my brothers and I had plenty of space, and we got to eat breakfast on a beautiful balcony.

The hotel has Crown Landing, a great restaurant, and offers a free shuttle to Coronado Village. Plus, there’s a fun golf cart service that takes you across the street to the beach!

My favorite part was renting a speedboat from Action Sports Rentals, right at Loews. We got to zoom across the Bay and even took a spin under the Coronado Bridge!

Loews also has pickleball courts, yard games, and three pools.

Wrapping up our epic journey from the cool city vibes of NYC to the chill beach life in San Diego. From coast to coast, it’s been a blast of adventures, laughs, and a ton of fun family moments. Can’t wait to tell you all about where we’re heading next! In the meantime, check out these properties at loewshotels.com.
