KAIPOD LEARNING SUMMER PROGRAMS

KaiPod Learning offers an entirely new way of learning with microschools located in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Glendale, and Surprise. This summer, experience the magic of small group learning at KaiPod! Dive into themes ranging from animal biomes and desert survival skills to youth entrepreneurship. Explore a new adventure every week, delving into the science of food, the human body, dinosaurs, outer space, weather, logic, and leadership. Led by expert Learning Coaches, KaiPod emphasizes fun and positivity, turning curiosity into knowledge in an engaging and supportive setting. Each camp is intentionally designed with a maximum of 12 kids per age group, allowing kids to form meaningful connections with their peers. Programs are priced at $260/week (ESA eligible), with a $55/week extension available until 5 p.m. Weekly sessions run June 3 to July 26 (closed July 1 to 5). Is your child interested in acting? If so, Greasepaint Youth Theater’s summer performance camps, taught by expert teaching artists, are the perfect way for student performers to challenge and educate themselves this summer. They offer both one week and three-week options and all camps feature a little bit of song, a little bit of dance, a little bit of acting skills and a whole lot of fun! CAMP O’CONNOR USA

Camp O’Connor USA is a free, merit-based civics camp for middle school students with a mission to educate, encourage, and inspire the next generation of leaders. Participants in this civics camp gain a deeper, experiential understanding of our nation's democracy, branches of government, and the duties, rights, and responsibilities of citizenship. Presented by the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute for American Democracy, the camp is in its sixth year. Applications are open to current seventh and eighth grade students. Out of area or out of state campers may request an accommodations scholarship to cover hotel costs for a camper and parent/guardian to attend. The camp runs from Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14. Camper applications are by Friday, March 29.

Since 2013, Engineering for Kids has been offering its high-quality STEM enrichment programs to Valley kids ages 4 to 14. Their programs are offered at over 10 Phoenix metropolitan locations. Young actors receive theatrical experience in a non-competitive, fun environment. Each session covers all aspects of a musical production including auditions, staging, and choreography. A typical day includes voice, dance, acting, games, and arts and crafts. Daily, each camper must bring a sack lunch, a snack, and his/her own water bottle. Their experienced art educators and artists will guide children to develop an eye for color, composition, and design. Bouldering Project Summer Adventure Camp

Whether your child is an experienced climber or brand new to bouldering, they will have a blast with Bouldering Project’s summer camp instructors leading the way! This is a full-week (Monday-Friday) camp running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 7 to 12 and 8 a.m. to -12 p.m. for ages 4 to 6. They provide climbing shoes and other program materials. Their one-to-five staff ratio allows the instructors to get to know the kids, ensure their needs are met, and create memories with them that will last forever. Kids will learn basic climbing techniques and terminology, play games both on and off the wall, and participate in daily STEAM activities.
