Baseball season is underway and taking in an Arizona Diamondbacks game is one of the most fun things families can do together here in the valley. All season long, there will be giveaways, free ticket days for kids, and many more activities that will definitely be worth checking out a game.

Once at the ballpark, kids and their families are invited to visit The Sandlot, which is a family-focused destination aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle with several fun and exciting activities. The Sandlot is located in the Upper Concourse in left field and features the Future Field where kids can take Wiffle Ball batting practice, a kid’s playground, toddler playground, batting cage, and the kids club headquarters.

Every year one of the coolest things available for kids is the D-Backs Kids Club. This free program rewards younger fans with prizes for attending games with items such as access to free tickets and exclusive events. Any fan age 15 or younger can sign up for the Kids Club at the ballpark or on the MLB Ballpark app.

For the Kids Club members, one of the best things they can receive each season is one free ticket to a regular season Sunday home game with the purchase of a paid adult ticket. Tickets can be redeemed on the Thursday before each Sunday game. There are a few Monday to to Thursday games that are eligible for the Kids Club benefit and those are shared in the Kids Club Newsletter. Tickets for the Kids Club members are available in the bleachers, Baseline Reserve, Club Reserve, or Infield Reserve. To be eligible for the free Sunday game ticket, kids must claim their first Kids Club prize. After checking in at the first game you attend, then you will receive a separate code that will be used in the ticket redemption process.

And who doesn’t like a giveaway or free gift? Here are some of the cool items the Diamondbacks are giving away this season:

  • May 4: A commemorative Gabriel Moreno bobble has a golden glove and a removable mask. The first 20,000 fans get to take one home.

  • May 25: A replica alternate jersey available to the first 20,000 fans.

  • June 15: The 4-Home Run Player Tee displays the home runs that took place during the wild 3rd inning of NLDS Game 3. Only 20,000 will be available so arrive early.

  • June 16 (Father’s Day): A great Father’s Day Polo shirt will be available to the first 15,000 dads in attendance.

  • June 29: Ketel Marte Bat Flip Bobble will be available to the first 20,000 fans.

  • July 13: This one is for Star Wars Fans. There will be a Lourdes Gurriel Jr. as a Stormtrooper Bobble, available to the first 20,000 fans.

And many more!
