Make Conservation a New Year’s Resolution with OdySea Aquarium’s FREE Conservation Expo

Visit Over 30 Conservation Exhibitors & Animal Ambassadors from Birds of Prey to Penguins to Alligators (and more!)

 

WHAT: OdySea Aquarium hosts their fourth annual Conservation Expo – a FREE event featuring over 30 conservation-focused organizations from across Arizona.  Several of these organizations will feature LIVE animal ambassadors at the Expo.

WHEN: Saturday, January 15 from 9 AM – 2 PM

 

WHERE: The outdoor courtyard at Arizona Boardwalk (outside OdySea Aquarium)

WHY: Make conservation a new year’s resolution!  OdySea Aquarium gathers dozens of conservation-focused organizations from all over the state for its annual Conservation Expo!  This FREE event is full of fun, learning, and exploration designed for guests of all ages!

Each organization’s booth will be highly interactive featuring either conservation-based arts and crafts, animal meet-and-greets, engaging games, or other lively ways to teach visitors that conservation is a lifestyle and it is easy to make positive changes for the benefit of the planet.  Many of the booths will feature LIVE animal ambassadors including penguins, birds of prey, alligators, snakes, and more!

Other highlights of the 2022 Conservation Expo include:

  • Penguin Poop Bingo
  • Debris in the Desert art created LIVE! Children can help art experts build a giant animal sculpture from debris/trash found during desert clean-ups
  • Animal ambassador appearances and photo opportunities throughout the day with donations going to AZA Penguin/Turtle SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) programs
  • Raffles with prizes
  • Special area for kids featuring bounce houses and slides
