Disneyland Resort & Disney’s California Adventure

Halloween and fall season fanatics can now get a head start on the festivities! Fall favorite celebrations are back at Disneyland Resort. Now through October 31st, you’ll find seasonal décor and food items throughout Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks. Also, honoring Mexican traditions of Dia de los Muertos, the Plaza de la Familia cultural experience is great for the whole family. Information and tickets are available online at

Knotts Berry Farm

Enjoy the spooktacular Halloween season at Knotts Spooky Farm, a family-friendly celebration. Families can enjoy themed décor all over the park, themed-food options, trick-or-treating, original shows, and pumpkin decorating. Knotts Spooky Farm takes place during the daytime hours on Thursdays – Sundays, September 28 – October 29th, plus Columbus Day and Halloween.

  • Teenagers & older

For those looking at a bit more scary experience, there is Knotts Scary Farm, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The golden anniversary lineup includes a total of 10 mazes, five scare zones, and four shows. The event will definitely be scary, so it is recommended for 13 and older. This event kicks off September 21 and runs to Halloween, October 31st. This event runs in the nighttime hours and is a specially ticketed event. Knott’s Scary Farm is open 7:00 pm – 2:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays and 7:00 pm – 1:00 am on select Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Universal Studios

Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal City Walk are decorated for the spooky season between now and October 31st. The theme park is a great spot to enjoy time with family, riding rides, watching shows & entertainment, eating delicious food and more. Lots of shopping as well inside the park as well as right outside at City Walk.

  • Teenagers & older

For a bit spookier event and fun, teenagers and families are invited to attend Halloween Horror Nights this fall. Guests with this special ticket can get into the park on ticketed days after 2 p.m. and enjoy access to haunted mazes, scare zones, and more.
